The reason I go with Bon Scott is he's one of the rare rock singers where right down to his tiniest molecule he is pure rock n roll. He's so authentic and unpretentious in what he did and it came out of him as clear as a 100 watt Marshall. While DLR was a great frontman he would have been happy being a famous celebrity of any kind I think. The crack about him becoming a TV show host in the Hot For Teacher video is probably not far off the mark. Freddie Mercury is like Bon Scott in that being a singer and performing was as important as breathing. Paul Rodgers has that quality of true authentic rock 'n' roll in his bones.
