The Baddest Front man ever...Bon Scott!

Oh yeah......all these guys are great as Frontman. But for my personal take...
Bon Scott just rules. SO down and dirty rock and roll.

The reason I go with Bon Scott is he's one of the rare rock singers where right down to his tiniest molecule he is pure rock n roll. He's so authentic and unpretentious in what he did and it came out of him as clear as a 100 watt Marshall. While DLR was a great frontman he would have been happy being a famous celebrity of any kind I think. The crack about him becoming a TV show host in the Hot For Teacher video is probably not far off the mark. Freddie Mercury is like Bon Scott in that being a singer and performing was as important as breathing. Paul Rodgers has that quality of true authentic rock 'n' roll in his bones.

Halford would be close second to Bon for me, dude is the real fucking deal and still pretty much the best around.

Mick couldn't sing, and looks like a sucker fish. Freddie could sing, but looked like Mango from SNL with aids.

DLR might as well have been a Circus clown.

Plant and Daltrey probably deserve to make a top ten list.

It's all depends on the Era, tastes, charisma, music, and vocal range..

Why do you build me up, buttercup?

Check out the side man....Bon

:D
Yeah I saw that one the other night...

Well, have to start somewhere; and he was a sideman not the frontman there.

BTW, I'll add Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) to my list above.

Hell yeah!

Plus what other front man can pull this off?

I know who COULDN'T pull that look off.. Bonn couldn't!

Jesus gain some weight! Arms on him like a paraplegic. I've seen bigger/better arms on chairs.

Let's not even talk about that noise he made that some thought of as singing....

Derek

For me its a tie between Plant and Ian Anderson

They don't write tunes like this anymore.
