Finally!
The Rasmus line by Suhr is now becoming available to the public. Just saw this on eBay: https://cgi.ebay.com/Rasmus-Suhr-M100-Ro ... 3cb3be0f8b (they also have one with a black finish on there) I believe this to be an excellent buy for anyone not able to (or not willing to) pay the higher premium prices for the Suhr equivalent. I don't know of an imported model that seems to have such attention to detail as these Rasmus' seem to have. I heard that part of the delay getting them out to the public was because Suhr was inspecting them so thoroughly that they'd send them back upon finding anything remotely not up to the standard they were looking for. With having a new foreign manufacturing plant, it seems as though there was a conditioning process....in order for them to get on the same page as to what Suhr was expecting from them. What makes these imported models so great, is that they are all shipped to the Suhr Plant (USA) where they undergo their final assembly and inspection as well as being Plek'd and set up by Suhr master builders before being shipped from the Suhr factory. They even come equipped with much of the same hardware that is found on their regular Suhr models.
Here are the specs:
This M100 features the following specifications:
- Suhr Modern body-style
- North American Alder body
- Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard
- Modern Elliptical neck profile (.730 - .830)
- 16'' fretboard radius
- 1.650'' nut width
- 24 Jumbo frets (same German-made fretwire used on Suhr guitars, although not stainless)
- Gotoh 510 trem w/Solid Saddles
- Locking tuners
- JST SSH+ humbucker in the bridge
- JST FL single coil in the middle
- JST SSV humbucker in the neck
- 5 way switch
- Volume and Tone controls
- Deluxe padded gig bag
I'm a big fan of Suhr guitars and love gear as much as most people on here. So, I thought it'd be cool to post this info for anyone not aware of them. Seems like a good buy to me!
