Hey,, i'm new to the forum

I received my Killer Kali++ last week from Dan. DAMN!! this things is the dogs.

I'v owned good amps till now, but this one takes the price. I personally never thought anything would beat my Mark V.. but it seems things has changed now.
Ill keep the Mark v tho... to have the option for recording. It seems my amp hunting is at an end finally. 2 Soldanos, 2 diesels, 4 Marshalls, 3 Mesas, 1 Hiwatt custom, 1 Orange, Axe FX 2 bullcr..., Splawn.

It's a 1960A cab with Celestion/Mesa Black Shadow speaker. That is my favorite speaker... it's like an improved V30 with extended freq range and more defined mids.

Yeah. We played with them last year, and I asked about his recording setup, he wouldn't spill the beans. But as far as I can figure out/know, i'd say he's using a stock 70's JMP 1959 with some lush pedal in front... I wonder which one.

I recently owned a YJM-100 and it came very close to the sound.. however i think my new Killer Kali setup is even closer.

Yup. Mine is the only one that Mike has made with all the extra stuff on it. I named mine the Killer Kali because of my love for the movie Kalifornia. I posted a bunch of clips and vids of it and I guess it spawned some interest in other folks getting one. All cool with me.

I actually spec'd the amp out with Mike and the mid shift and sweep was something I really wanted. Mike and I discussed the amp design at length plus Mike knows my playing style very well having done another total custom amp with me as well. He came up with a bunch of other ideas based on what we discussed and put them into the amp. I guess it could be considered it my signature model. Ha!

Can you tell a bit more about the mid-sweep. At which freq / +- dB does it work? I like the fact thats it's so subtle.
