The insanity continues... NGD #3 of the week: Chubtone #3

So I loved the "Pasadena" Chubtone so much I decided to grab another one from Curt. This one was actually made to "my" specs, so much so, they were calling it the "Henning".

1 3/4" nut width, deeper neck profile, Super D and Humbucker from Hell in the neck, beautiful birdseye neck, Fiesta Red Nitro and tasteful relic work. Absolutely LOVE this one!

I'm telling you, if you put my favorite Music Zoo Nitro Relic in my hands and then this guitar, there is no way I could tell the difference. Great stuff from Curt and his partner at Chubtone Guitars!

I actually really dig the headstock on these. Usually that's the easiest thing to screw up, but it looks like Chubtone's in the right direction. I looked up the price, also very reasonable. Rock on, dude

If I wasn't in selling mode, that fiesta red would have been in my hands last week. Glad you like it
I'm down to the white nitro I got back in Feb. I like it more than the white nitro you had (I've played them side by side). I have the legacy refin almost done...ill probably sell it as well. It was really hard selling off the pre-pro reissues and the killer blue custom shop. Like selling parts of my body. My goal is to get down to a single Les Paul, strat and super strat. I'm actually giving my kids my red 2008 pro mod to use, so that's justified That leaves the legacy as the bogey, but I don't have much $$ into it.

Not great, but OK. The shots help, but I've somewhat learned to play around the issue, although, unless they come up with a cure, I'll never be as good (in relative terms anyway ) as I used to be...
