The Kids Real MLB 2025 Top 12 Power Rankings Update May 19th, 2025.......
Based off Total Team WAR, Starting Pitching rotations projections and the WAR-Ratio as a baseline along with other factors and considerations for teams with most likelihood and highest likelihood of making postseason for 2025.......
My Rankings are more accurate and to a lower margin of error when it came to my Regular Season and Post Season Power Rankings in the 2023 season vs the "experts"......they actually reflected performance by teams better than MLB/ESPN/Verlander/The-Ringer.... as good as the "experts" in 2024 and I don't have a full department of people and "professionals" or "experts" like Ken Rosenthal running around a floor of 500 people and a nationwide network of hundreds if not thousands of reporters and journalist..........
It's just me, my WAR-Ratio method and other factors and considerations, basic stats available to everyone and a little bit of calculus along with my Ti-84+ calculator.......thats it......you heard it here first.......

With Ohtani coming back on the mound....... all supped up and recovered in his chamber with todays best technology and medicine has to offer...... in 2025...... with the Angels he was like Anakin....... and he was pretty amazing as a pitcher but with the Dogers he's pretty much going to be Darth Vader as a pitcher after coming back from the injury, another MVP and consecutive MVP, a WS ring and being on a new team......
Nvm your going to have possibly 3 of the best pitchers Japan has known in modern times or possibly of all time..... Yu Darvish probably still considered the best Japanese pitcher of todays time still...... either way 3 of the best the NPB has produced and 3 of the best pitchers in the World on any given day.......

Amongst pitchers with a combined 65+ IP and sub 3.00 ERA, Tarik Skubal is the only one with a 12+ K/9..... he is also tied for 2nd for four seam fastball average velocity in the MLB and tied for 1st in the AL for four seem fastball average velocity...... currently the only pitcher with 65+ IP that allows only less than 1 BB/9......... leading pitchers in fWAR at 2.7........ Skubal is on pace for 200+ IP, a sub 3.00 ERA and 7-8 +fWAR with a K/9 well above 10+....... looking to have as good or better season than last...... actually better so far on all metrics.......
Setting the tone for yet another AL Cy Young....... an absolute killer and an Ace of Spades and a Pure True Ace even amongst the best of True Aces........
