1. Shitty bar, to which I never go, here in Fort Wayne.
2. $11 for a shitty manhattan in a tiny tiny tiny glass.
3. No Randalls in sight. Word was, it was feeding back too much for his tastes?
4. He was rocking an SLO and a 100 watt Plexi with an ultimate attenuator
5. He used the thinnest cable I've ever seen from guitar to pedal board. maybe George L's
6. Just an SM57 on each cab.
7. pedals = TS9, Phase 90, Electric Mistress flanger, HUGE Boss EQ from the 70's, Boss CE-5 Chorus Ensemble (the one nobody uses), T Rex Replica Delay, some wah.
Lynch sounded killer. It was a punchy, full, grinding sound.
Of course, it was a bunch of really lame new metal shit tuned to C. EVERYTHING was tuned to C.
The singer looked like the Ministry guy. He sang with a pitchfork in front of his face. I think it was like a facemask for protection. I'm sure people have thrown bottles at the guy.
The other guitarist sounded awesome. Boss CE2, Boss DM2 delay, a pair of Purple Marshall Plexi 100 watters. I thought his tone might have sounded just a bit better than Lynch's.
