A history lesson for you...Ukraine 'first' ASKED to join Russia back in the 1600s because they couldn't protect themselves against the Ottomans and with Russia they were safe. The full implementation of all of Ukraine under Russian protection and control took over a hundred years but again, on Ukraine's insistence for full protection.

With the dissolution of the USSR in the 90s Russia, as a gesture (aka: gift), let Ukraine be independent but under certain conditions that protected the 'entire' Commonwealth. Make no mistake, Russia was not forced to let Ukraine once again exist. It was an act of goodwill on Russia's part.

Enter the 2000s and Ukraine certainly did not correct their behaviour at all and were repeatedly warned by the entire Commonwealth. Germany and a few others get involved and 100% lied to Russia and the Commonwealth (they have admitted this publicly) and then WE get involved and topple their government and install Zelensky who is stealing billions in US currency.

Crimea and others held their OWN public referendums and they chose to legally reconstitute with Russia and divorce Ukraine. Russia and Putin had no role in this and they are currently fighting on behalf of these regions to stay with Russia.

The above can all be found if you dig and if you choose not to and remain a duped sheep...good for you.
