I still think MOST of the cliches read and seen in the FOR SALE ads are simply reiterations of the same poetic marketing nonsense that started, um, whatever, years ago(???). But the REAL jist in most of the ads - is - and I'm as guilty as anyone else in this matter, I think/we think SOMETIMES new gear will make ME/us a better player...and when I/we realize it doesn't, I/we start to jones for new shiny better stuff.

Now, granted, I've matured a lot in the last 10 years, and my GAS flames are there for shit that I truly know about and want. You can show me a host of guitars, amps, effects, and everything else - unless it's got what I'm looking for, I won't buy it. And what I have right now? I'm not selling any of it (pardon the odd stomp or pedal that's just not fitting into my latest pedal board which is 14 stomps in a row, all the same, Mk.4:23 Pro ). Just saying...

A lot of it is self affirming Freudian self directed psycho babble...

This amp has a variety of NOS tubes = We tossed in whatever we could find from the service room that would light up.

Smoke free is the best though. And this amp has never uttered a racial epithet, raised it's voice at an animal, or listened to Fox News.

This is the Best amp I ever played, I have finally found the one, this amp isnt going anywhere,(few days later) WHO WANTS TO TRADE for it, what ya got?

Really means this amp sounds lame and I couldnt sell this thing without losing my ass so I rolled the dice and had it modded. Now it still sounds like crap and I am giving up on it.

My take on amps is a simple analogy..........

Like Baskin Robbins

There are 31 flavors and I want to try them ALL OUT!!
It dont mean some are better then others but how will I know if I dont try them out?
So if something comes out that strikes my interest....I go for it.
Dont mean its better or worse since I have no idea how it will be.
I give every amp the benefit of the doubt.
I get a chance to check it out and if it dont 'click'......then I move it out.
Even if it does 'click'......I will probably move it to try something else.

Thats about it in a nutshell until I try all '31 FLAVORS'........

I am about at the end of the line for what I want to try out.
Ultimately the one that has moved to what I want as a "Keeper" is the Diezel VH4S.
But I still have a couple more I want to check out.
No excuses from me. Just simply wanting to enjoy life and music and gear.
My opinion may be different then others but thats just me.

ACTUALLY MEANS: "This amp has so much tear and issues that I spent 3 hours in photoshop to make the pictures more blurry and undefined."

Idk about you, but I only have a camera phone I guess we can't all be perfect photographers. I never realized that was a requirement for selling gear. Perhaps sometimes, people actually mean what they say.
