I played the CCV, and it is not worth nearly the asking price IMHO

I played the CCV, and it is not worth nearly the asking price IMHO

I owned 3 Cameron modded amps.
Sold them all right about the 2K mark.
Is the CCV worth DOUBLE that??
.........Maybe!

But I doubt it.
I owned TONS of kick ass amps.....
the most I spent was 3K.......and that was pushing it.
But hey....maybe there is something about the CCV that makes it SUPERIOR to every other thing on the planet.

I will have my order placed in the next few months to find out FIRST HAND!

Well actually this is a fair one (as I'm going through it myself currently). I've had a few pieces that I wasn't able to sell but people who wanted them only had gear to offer as a trade so if what they are offering is something I can sell easily I'd accept that so I could move something to create the money to pay the bills. Coming from someone who has been hospitalized 3 times in the past 5 months and looking at 2 surgeries in the next 2 months, medical expenses are no joke.

REALLY MEANS: "So and so owned this piece of crap and pawned it off on to me, so now I am going to pawn it off on to you. But don't worry, I'll vouch for how great it sounds when you sell it!"

I'm brutally honest when I sell amps/guitars/etc. Usually it's this simple:

Description (fill in the blank) and this statement...

"I have too many guitars/amps, and while this one is a great player, good tone, etc. I have other gear that covers this tone already. Since I have 24 guitars, 26 4x12's, 14 amps, and God knows how much other shit, this one is on the auction/chopping block. Here's the price, no low ball offers considered/no trades, doesn't include shipping/paypal fees."

When I sell stuff, though, it's usually several cuts nicer than what you can get anywhere else for the same guitar. I once traded a guy in Vegas my ES-333 that I'd reworked for a 61 SG Std Reissue. After he got my guitar, he felt that I had sent him a nicer guitar than his in the trade, and he sent me another $125 to make up the difference in what he thought was a fair deal. Granted that's only happened once, but it did happen.
