Everything in my SG sounded thin, even with a decent wiring harness. Problem was solved by a Wagner Anthony Steele Set. The Godwood in the bridge really warms it up.

The '60s Burstbucker isn't bad, it's warm, kinda round, not thin. That said, I'm thinking of putting a Duncan Custom in the bridge. Bring a little more heat and thump.
 
True. Gold hardware is negotiable. Santana shoes are not. :LOL:
I usually hate gold hardware. White guitars in general, and black Les Paul Customs are pretty much the only exceptions. It warms it up. Makes me want to snuggle up to it, and plug in.

Fuck Carlos' shoes. Ecco Hybrids for work, and Docs for pretty much everything else.
