Same. I actually wasn't familiar with them at all up until a few years ago and saw one at a pawn shop for a few hundred dollars and just dismissed it as a gaudy import.

I guess so, but it didn't interest me and I'm not really a flipper. I didn't even take a closer look at it as it's not my thing, tbh. Believe that I looked it up later originally thinking it was along the lines of a Oscar Schmidt/Harley Benton kind of thing and found out what it was. I've definitely gotten a few good scores from pawnshops like a MM Stingray Bass for $180. Probably marked that way because of Sterling and it was a chain store with cashiers and not really people in the know about everything.

It’s a killer take on the traditional LP. Better upper fret access, fantastic build quality. The SSC uses a custom Bareknuckle pickup set based on the Mule, and they’re awesome. Just a great guitar overall.

I like this better by far compared to most PRS designs, and tbt it reminds me of my two favorite PRS designs the Mira and the Vela.
