I hooked up my Fractal FX8 to two amps for the first time last night. There was no hum or buzz. It was glorious. I'm still not using it to the fullest capabilities, but I got the basics dialed in. It's my guitar to my FX8, two outputs to two different amps (Mesa Mark V and a Mesa Stiletto Deuce), and then each effects loop hooked up to the FX8.

Now that I have that hooked up, I can use the pan for ABY stuff and manage two rigs. I can now dive into stereo effects properly. Anyone else running a similar rig? What stereo effects are you guys using in your stereo rigs?

I’m using a boss Ms-3 and then running the tverb into the ultra plus’s return. So basically two tverbs in stereo with all my effects in stereo. All boosts and wah out front. It’s fucking glorious. Ask japetus….he’s heard it. This is the way.
