What an epic game. Fleury had to play out of his mind and he did. Talbot played hero and the whole team really pulled together. Fuck all the doubters who said the Pens had no chance against the almighty Red Wings. First team since the '79 Pirates to win a game 7 on the road. First team to win a cup after being down 2-0 in 2 different series. Sid the Kid - youngest captain to ever win the cup. Get used to it. He and the Pens will be picking up a few more in the future.

J/K of course. Yeah the Wings brought it. It was like a power play the 2nd half of the game. The Wings were killing us towards the end with shots but Fleury was to good and the Pens were to good early on. Hoosa was redder than his jersey. Poor little booger.

Just think, we beat a team that has SIX Sidney Crosbys and we played the majority of the game with out our ONE Sidney Crosby. That's because the Pens have depth. Detroit is just a team of a couple superstars.

I do have to give some props to Hossa though. The dude was incredible for us last year and only left because he thought he had a better chance in Detroit. That didn't pan out, but who knows? Maybe he'll come back to the 'burgh next year.

Also have to give props to the Wings. No better opponent in the NHL.
