There goes my forecast of Red Wings in 6, but wow - that was a GREAT game. Both goalies were ridiculous! Comes down to Pittsburgh needing to break the trend of each team being able to defend their home ice. I still like my Wings chances to hoist the Cup in Detroit, but either way this has been a really good matchup.

I'm sure there isn't really any panic in Detroit, but I just wanted to post that video. :D

Definitely no panic. But you know those smug motherfuckers thought they were going to pull off a postcard moment on Pittsburgh ice again. Not so fast...

And really the only context in which you can post it, so understood... Well, I guess unless you were planning on just driving through Detroit, then it would still make sense.

What a series! Great representation of what Hockey`s got to offer. I think in this series the goalies made the difference, I`m anxious to see how game seven will turn out.

I think if you had told Detroit fans they would win games 1 and 2, but it would still go 7 games they would think you were crazy. Like I said all along (not that it matters), if the Pens are going to do this it's gonna take 7 games. Osgood was amazing because I honestly felt we should have scored 4-5 pretty easily with the chances we were getting. Fleury came up huge as well. The stop on the breakaway saved the game.

The Pens get 4 chances to just win one game on the road. Let's hope this is the time.

No matter what team you root for, you have to realize we are watching a series that will be talked about for years. This is one for the ages.

GO PENS!!!

Yeah, it's been great hockey so far, glad it's gone the distance! I said wings in 7 and we'll see if I'm right shortly :) Fleury was the difference last night, after laying an egg the previous game. Stopping that breakaway saved the game, because I'm pretty sure Detroit would have sealed the deal if they had tied it up.

I'm also very thankful for HD hockey...man, watching it on a regular TV just doesn't do it anymore!

Man, you said it. I only have a 32" lcd, but even then if I have to watch a game in SD, I can't see the puck anymore.

Pittsburgh dominated the first half of the game. They blocked a lot of shots and kept Detroit on the outside. Detroit failed to execute on the PP and on Clearys breakaway that could have tied it.

Oh well, back home to where home ice is an advantage for Game 7's. JLA is going to be loud and rocking!

Lets Go Red Wings!!!!!!!!

Home ice has been a pretty serious advantage in every game, IMO. Matchups have been key. Staal/Cooke/Kennedy against Zetterberg's line was key last night. But it will be tougher to pull off that matchup when Detroit has the last change. That said, Pittsburgh has proven beyond a doubt that they can hang with the Mighty Red Wings and except for Game 5 have looked to be the hungrier team for most of the minutes.

I'm expecting a war on Friday. Can't wait....

These two day breaks between games blow!!!

Awesome game last night...the hitting was brutal! Fleury stole the show but Osgood kept the game from turning into a reversal of game 5...he stopped quite a few good scoring chances (especially his save on the Malkin-to-Fedotenko setup).

Hopefully the Pens can finally win one on the road...the JLA hasn't been too friendly.
