I guess they went back with their producer on some of the classics and had Andy Sneap involved as well. I've heard four songs from it and just has a killer sound, great vocals, lyrics, etc. The solos in this one are great:

Sounds pretty good! Saw them quite a few years back, and Rob came riding out on stage on a sick ass chopper! That was an epic show; so glad I went to that one!

MEH... Good tone, (Engls, I'm sure), but lyrics are weak & cheesy. And I'm the biggest JP fanboy of them all! Plus, most of it is Richie, not sure how much Glenn actually contributed. That started killer, and went to shit real quick! I've heard that one, and the other one that's been out, (weak too, IMO).

They should hang it up, really. The band is no more, IMO. I know I wouldn't waste my money to go see them without Glenn. We'll see, but I think their tour will surely take a hit. Rob's vocals have suffered, (obviously with age), and first no K.K., now no Glenn.

Why didn’t they ask KK back in with Glen going out ? Missed the boat there...

Sounds good to me. Very Painkillerish. You can tell by the guitar playing that it's not the same. Solid song overall though. I like it.

Agreed... I'm curious how much if any Glenn is on here too... it's definitely not the Priest sound that I think of when I think of Priest, its something else, with Rob Halford. Oh well...

I've been a huge Priest sound since 1980, but lost interest after Painkiller. Although I did like Halfords Fight and Two projects.

But this is just continuing to be a parody of themselves. Lyrics ranging from mediocre to silly like the Nostradamus album. Redeemer was a bit better, but It just sounds like people who don't really like what they're doing while trying to imagine what a 12yr old would like/understand.

I'll stick with my haze of nostalgia. Dissident aggressor, Realms of Death, Saints are in Hell, electric eye

yeah I really like this one...didn't like the other 2 they put out earlier but this one steps up.

Sadly on the 3 songs I have heard rob is the weak link. While his voice is strong it seems to be lacking "texture" it sounds very going through the motions to me and the lyrics have been kind of terrible (this one is much better though)

I like the new Saxon CD much better than anything I’ve heard from the new Priest record so far.
Seeing them both at the end of the month on their tour together

Everything sounds good, production top notch, but the songwriting suffers IMHO. No Electric eye here :(

Its good. I challenge anyone to post a better song they have recorded.

I listened to newer Saxon and Accept today too!! Damn shame that our older bands are mopping the floor with a lot of the crap music out these days. :)
