It kind of seems like a good idea to me, but there has to be a way to make that for a couple of bucks instead of 129.00.
I mean, most people are shipping guitars to someone else, so they aren't going to want to use it for that. If you're just carrying your guitar to a gig in its case, it's pretty hard to snap the headstock off

Gibson Custom Shop reissues call that " A FUCKING PIECE OF FOAM cut the match the rake of the headstock inside the case.
