My urologist pulled me in for a face to face. But he did get it wrong. Diagnosed me a Gleason 7. Post-op pathology found it was a Gleason 9 tumor. No bueno.

It was a 5 month lapse between my diagnosis and surgery. Had they known it was a Gleason 9 they would have had me in within a couple weeks of diagnosis for surgery if not sooner.

I was immediately like “Get this shit out of me. Tomorrow if you can” when they diagnosed me. My doctors and my wife were all worried about how I was doing. I was like “I’m fine, just get this shit out of me!!!”. I was very chill with it. Everyone around me was freaking the fuck out. My simple plan: get it out asap, move forward.

I’m just not down with the feeling of pissing into the wind. It doesn’t even matter what ‘side’ the alts are on, it’s akin to communicating with NPCs in a video game or bots on Twitter. I know there isn’t jackshit you guys can really do about it and I know it’s not supported by you guys, it’s just the lamest forum behavior I’ve witnessed in nearly 30 years of posting on forums.
