really? Jesus. I had two of them back in the day i think i paid around 1000 for each of them and sold them for 13-1400. is mike b the due at mesa? i should do that i bought the amp from this wild 80s metal dude who claimed he was the second owner based on his story and the story of the previous owner i know its never seen the inside of a shop lol.
Yep. ..And I've tried to by it back! *haha*

On your Quad Cortex- consider this. It's basically a PC. How long to PCs & things like them last? When it's shit the bed or obsolete in 10 years, Someone else will still be rocking your old Boogie.

you're not wrong about the QC and other modeling devices. Im keeping at least one of my real amps probably my diezel and i just ordered a black volt crazy horse.

Id keep the Mark3 and 1 of the 412 at least. I sold a lot of gear when I was not playing much 10 years ago and I have been regretting every piece of gear I sold.

I'm dumping some amps purely because I want to be more musician and less collector.

With more amps I get stuck in tone chasing territory and lose focus of actually writing any music ??

I'll go against the popular vote, and say dump away.
The prices on things won't stay high forever. Now is a great time to sell.
You'll free up space, feel better, have $ in the bank. There's always gear available.
You might miss one of those items one day, and they may become unobtainable, but you will soon forget about it while playing something else.
