I met Andy Wood in late summer 07 at the Cornerstone Festival. He was filling in as guitarist for the band Disciple, whom i have known for about 5 years. He had some serious lead chops but he just didn't have the rhythm chuggin' skills to really fit in.

We talked gear, influences, etc for about an hour or so. I helped him w/ setup/teardown and gave him a few Jazz pics. He told me one of his fav's is Guthrie Govan.

He's a cool guy and i hope to meet him again.

Word is he won a Guitar Center Guitarmageddon contest a few years ago and got a $25k Diezel endorsement.

Check out Rob Tahan from Ashes Remain/ Trinity Faction as well. VERY smooth player.
