This Just In ......... CCV 100 !

Came in this afternoon!! Picked it up from a friend and it's Absolutly killer...

Just got back from band rehearsal and all I can say is wow....Sounds great in the clips and at the amp shows and namm. But in a band situation this amp is just GIGANTIC! I didnt have to turn up any where near as loud as my marshall to cut through.... Just a big fuckin wall of sound! .... clips and more in depth review to come....

Remember hanging out at Paiges and comparing the Marshall VM to the other amps there? I won't say much more but i was VERY suprised at how the VM sounded when i thought it would get stomped on. After that I'm suprised you're gassing for the CCV.

hey, tonally how does the ccv compare to your cameron modded marshalls?

There are definatly similar aspects between the two but honestly there is no contest. Ive had the privelage of having a ccm on loan from chris and now own the ccv. Ive owned several Modded marshalls by Mark and they are sick but have no where near the versatility that this ccv has, and no where near the girth and punch either.

I'm working on my live rig right now. I think I'm going to run in stereo the ccv, and my Ocean modded marshall. And When i get my CCM I will incorporate that into the mix also... not quite sure how yet.

I can't say I don't what you're talking about because I do. The VM held it's own quite nicely. However the Cameron was quiter, tighter and a bit easier to play through. But thats splitting hairs isn't it.
