Me too. I like the sound though, especially the way it ends up right between vintage and modern. Is CCV the more "Marshall-y" or "Mesa-y" sounding version of the two new amps?
Id do some clips with other speakers but i dont have my marshall cab at home , its at the rehearsal studio. . .im going to pull the trigger on two CL80's pretty soon and try the mixture. The ccv is the Vintage (marshally) and the ccm is the modern (that mesa boogie wishes they sounded like

This is what I can tell you so far - I used it at rehearsal and its cuts through incredibly well and just plain sounds big. Ive used it at home for some late night quiet jamming (bedroom volume) and the master volume is absolutly sick. The tones stay consistent through the whole volume span which i find to be extremly helpful. This amp really sounds incredible at any volume, which i have never had luck with some other amps. It really does adapt to different guitars and players which I absolutly love..It captures the character of a tele or a strat, then plug a Paul into and it SCREAMS! Lead tones are fluid and just fly off the board , rhythm tones are tight and articulate and CUT. It's easy to play yet lets the hands of the player tell the story...
The different dip switches above the gain pots, punch control, presence, master volume, solo boost and etc are VERY powerful tone shaping tools. The harmonics are just insane, in sounds like my guitar is just wrapped in them....it SINGS, and the voicing capabilities are just plain silly...

what an amp he has built. This thing is a tank and the build quality is SOLID and military spec, yet beautiful... i love the little American Flag on the back! Built right here in the USA!

I'm very happy and couldn't ask for anymore. It is seriously the tone i've seeked for my whole life, I won't say I'm completly done buying amplifiers, anything i do buy will sit next to my CCV and I will say that anything i buy from hear on in will be up against a serious challenge to top what i've now experienced and heard. Mark has raised the bar of guitar tone!
