The obvious solution to that scenario is for each to use a different amp, which I'd say is what happens most-of-the-time.

Which in those cases for me is what did happen. Though it always seemed to be me switching amps because Mr. rock god didn't want to compromise his perfect tone. #BandDrama ? lol
