Thoughts on an Engl E530 + VHT 2902 rig?

I thought your Synergy tones were great and was surprised you didn't keep it. Great way to have some different tones to switch between when you get bored.

Lots of reasons not related to the tones that I had to let it go. My wife has been out of real work for the better part of 2 years, now, and the EVH 100S is still my favorite amp of all time, so most other gear had to go.

If you still want that Engl sound...Listening back to this makes me wonder why I didn't keep it, honestly haha. I bet paired with a 2902 would sound incredible, too. I did try it with a Powerstation, and I agree that it is just too transparent for this purpose. It sounds good but is missing something. The PA50 was a better choice, and makes me want to grab the 100 watt rack unit.

Will definitely look into a Synergy, great clip.

530 is kinda cool, if you are into the "Engl" sound. I found it to be a bit shrill and one dimensional.
The 2/90/2 is a really good poweramp, super high headroom, don't expect poweramp stauration before breaking concrete and glass.
It is real 90watts per side, the Mesa is around 60
Considering the preamp and poweramp, the TC this sound like somebody's rig from the early 2000s.

Honelstly, purely from a business perspective, it a fair deal, try to sell the 530 and the TC and get a Syn2. That, with a 2/90/2 rips a new hole on any amp.
