I will say that he definitely has the skills, but he needs to take his tampon out somethin' fierce. This is not Boys-2-Periphery...

The guy needs Puberty before he can handle Periphery. :hys: Joking really. You know, they are all talented, and they write cool stuff. The vocals aren't my cup of tea, but in the end, to each their own. The best thing is that they living their dreams, and this is a good thing. Yeah, the guy has a whining that is intolerable, but lets face it, so many people have a life that they really never live. At least these guys seem to being doing the opposite. Cheers to them all the way, you never know how a band will develop, and unfold as they progress.

I'd buy it if it was instrumental, can't stand ridiculous cookie monster vocals.

Same here, I'd like it a lot more if it were instrumental, there are some major chops in the group. Then again, if they go in that direction I think a lot of their fan base would disappear. A lot of people seem to be into the whiney, childish, screamo vocals these days.

All the younger bands around here try to play downtuned "metal" but dress like hipsters and sing like pussies  It's sick really, the genre is mostly a joke.

Tried a listen...........do not like. I do like some vocals like this but Devn Townsend has spoiled me.

I think Bulb has commented that Periphery won't do anymore instrumental albums. I guess a lot of people took the last instrumental album as a sign that they didn't have faith in their vocalist, or that they might be open to getting someone new, or something along those lines.

Yeah, it's kind of a shame. I love what he brings to the table as a guitarist but I won't be able to listen to stuff like this. Oh well, I'm sure they already have enough fans and don't give a shit what I think
