Anyone here get to try out the Soldano mini hot rod 25? It looks like a great little amp that is a step above the el84 powered amps.

If memory serves, it's pretty pricey for what it is

It is hand wired which comes into play on the price. I think it would be cool to have , but I have an SLO so it wouldn't make a real contribution to my set up, but the clip I saw where it was played at Soldano's shop sounded very sweet indeed!

I'd love to play one, but the cost is high and the big daddy SLO has such a great master, you might be better off buying a used SLO.

I wonder if Mike fixed the loop issues of the 100 on the 25?

I hope not, I like the loop.

Heard they would do the 25 in a rack form. Emailed a few times about it but never heard back. I imagine I would have gotten that.

Yes he did . . .

So why wouldn't he do the same on the 100? Anyways. Nice little amp, but 1000€ too much. At under 1500€ it would probably sell like hot cake.

Well, the SLO is too much of an icon to change anything.
In the 25 he (most) probably used the same loop design as in the JCA22H - and even before he had an amp with a better (loop) design, the Decatone.

Believe it or not, you might get better intel on this amp over on TGP........
