Tim Shaw Pickups; what's the BFD??

[joepete77]

I have an 84 lp custom with shaws. The pickup rings on shaw equipped gibsons have a paf sticker on the surrounds originally. I recently have swapped the bridge out as it was getting noisy and I needed a bit more output with my old style amps. They are nice pickups but can get noisy with high gain and aren't high output at all.
