I know, I'm not on the list...and I've never had alts. Which makes me wonder, do I actually have alts without knowing? Is everyone else an alt? Are we all the same person? Are we all AI? I don't know if I am ready for this Brave New World!!
 
I think the names on the list "are not" the one in question, correct? Glad to see I'm on there, because if I had any alts here, it would mean that I have a split personality and the "other" me is posting stuff and causing ruckus when the "real" me doesn't have a clue that they are doing it. :ROFLMAO:

That being said, and not casting aspersions on anyone on the forum. But, there is one name that, to me anyway, is conspicuously missing from the "not it" list. Oversite maybe? Don't know. In the immortal words of Forest Gump.. "That's all I have to say about thayut." :dunno:

Stupid would be talking shit about people behind their back and me caring enough to post a thread about it. Not funny would be people manipulating others into attacking specific members, outright lying about members in private messages over years, trying their best to get members' personal information off of others, all while simultaneously pretending to be those members' friend or creating multiple accounts to do both. Other parts of not funny are those who play along because they're too lazy to look into the history and instead claim members who are simply defending themselves are the problem. I guess those members should just start lighting up the report button instead of calling people out for being predatory. Apparently it's true that if people repeat a lie often enough, idiot dipshits will believe it.

Years ago, I was on a guitar forum and the owner of the forum also had a few alts that he would use to manipulate people so he could buy guitars or sell them and make more profit. I’ll just say this was a Charvel forum. A lot of time and effort went into making the alts believable and real people. To me that psychotic (no pun intended considering I’m psychodave)
 
I could see a guitar maker using an alt on a corporate forum to avoid some things. John Hall didn't. I called him an elitist asshole on his corporate forum and was permabanned instantly. He is an elitist asshole though.
