There are a few tips for this thing that I didn't first realize and are not totally obvious. First and foremost, the input sensitivity. There is a gain/trim control (Input) for your guitar/OD pedal. This is key for proper response for the profiles. My guitar has a high output humbucker (SD Distortion) that was slightly clipping the input when I really wacked the strings so the Input level fixed that easily.. I just didn't know it was there. There is also a trim for distorted input tones, you use that for OD boxes. After adjusting both the profiles everything sounds killer.
2nd and more important tip: volume levels range a bit on the profiles so I was upping the amp Volume to fix that... don't do that. Long hold the Cabinet button to edit its parameters and crank the Cab Volume to +5. HOLY SCHNIKES.. that brings out the lovely qualities of whatever cab you are trying, and gives you more volume.
Now I am getting glorious tones 99% of the time. Clean tones are totally improved and whats cool is my guitar was never good sounding for clean tones on any amp and now it is!
