WHERE is your HAGEN DUDE!?

It's in Montreal - at the distributor's business. Came in on Friday night. We're shipping it this upcoming week. I'm stoked - beyond stoked - and actually well past the needles and pins part - more like semi-murderous and a slight bit, um, agitated.

But that's okay... Live and let live. I'll be fine. The therapist I've been working with since the release of the Hagen has been really good, we're making solid progress and the drugs seem to be really helping with my sleep and diet. I've been into pastels lately, you know, scenic art and stuff. Life's good.

I dunno man, granted, I've come to like a bit of greasiness in my amps... The VH4 is NOT greasy. I love my 20thA with KT77s, THAT's a bit o'grease. My take on this whole Hagen gig is that it's all the tone of the VH4 with a bit of looseness and, well, greasiness to it. I'm hoping that's the take as that's what I'm aiming for. And if it is? Amp No.1 m'man...

Crap man, I gotta go. My Depends need changing, these meds kinda have some side effects...but that's okay. Wife and I are just setting up to watch some key episodes of Dr. Phil and Home & Garden. Life's good.

Thanks for the update Rob. We're well aware that the delays are on Fractal's end, not yours. It's all good
And even with that said I like Fractal and their small business operation, so the delays are actually not an issue.

What I don't get is that I can get on their website right now and buy one for $2599 so they do have them ready to go but they are having a hard time getting them out to their only retail store in the US. Is it just me or does that seem a bit messed up?

That's something I'm wondering as well. How come he has enough of them to sell at full price right now but can't be bothered to create shipments to fulfill his TM Preorders engagement promptly?
They seem to sell nicely at $2599. However, those who have put their money down on the table to preorder should be given priority.

I don't buy the low stock/ out of stock excuse. He's definitely got enough of them to give the special treatment and priority to artists and to those who are ready to pay $2599 right now.

Actually when i talked to TM they were pleased they were ahead of schedule .they original projected 30 -60 days till they saw any, of course Petrucci ,Vai ,Steve Stevens will take first serve .
But if TM get another 15 this week that 30 units .I don't think it is that bad

Yeah it's not too bad. They are the only ones who ship to Canada after all so I have nothing to complain about. It's either that or nothing for me. Being Axeless made me pickup my first acoustic guitar recently so it's a good thing

It's expected that anyone in close relation with the company will get one first. Friends of the family always come first. The thing I find odd is giving priority to anyone willing to pay more than everyone else when those stocks could be clearly used to fulfilled the TM preorders.

I'm also getting a Matrix GT800FX from Tone Merchant and will get them both shipped at the same time so I'm probably going to be waiting more than I would since I expected the AxeFX 2 to arrive before the Matrix given my placement on the Tone Merchants waiting list.

By the way, anyone interested in an ART SLA-2 ?!?!

It's all good in the end. Less time spent tweaking and more time spent playing

Um, if ya haven't QUITE gathered as of yet.... "messed up" and "Fractal Audio" are by NO means mutually exclusive. Just sayin'...got a lot of weird ju-ju going on over there. Best be stepping back and lettin' the front line take care of the business.
