He understood why I was switching my order, and explained why he doesn't get on the forums with all the pissing matches, I understand why he won't. Anyways we had a nice visit, he hooked me up with the Cameron, and I'm very pleased.

This is what Spaceboy got back when he emailed Fractal about why TM wasn't getting any shipments...seems to clear things up pretty well...!

I don't blame him for not coming on here. Besides chances are that whatever he says, people will find a way to kiss his butt publicly or try to find ways to use what he said as leverage to create more drama.

Hmm, I am not involved with this but, it seems to me it wouldn't hurt TM to spend 2 minutes and update people on whats going on with it. I was under the impression they were a top shelf place to do business with but....
If Fractal is indeed screwing them it's not their fault, one post to clear it up would be sufficient.
I'm betting they have made a decent amount of $$$ from the Rig-Talk community.

I just spoke to Rob on the phone for quite a while. As always, Rob is awesome and really cares for his customers. He told me why he is reluctant to come and post an update. There's too much potential for drama even if it's good news. I'm satisfied with what he told me.
Things are taken care of and more units should start shipping soon enough. I think we should hear good news in about 2 weeks.
All people need to know is that the wait is almost over

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I've been dealing with Rob Navarrette for quite a few years now and can personally vouch for him. Whatever is or was going on with FAS, rest assured Rob is dealing with it behind the scenes as best he can, and will make good with his commitment. While this is an open forum to rant and rave, if you look at the numerous "conflicts of interest" that are uncontrollable here, from a business sense, and promoting a product, as opposed to the FAS forum which is controlled - I can see why he is avoiding public forum comments. Quite frankly, I think the AXII release from FAS was not well conceived, but Rob was promised as the only US distributor, X number of units to sell, and that's what he did. I don't know the business terms as far as distribution that seem to be in question, but I can certainly see why RT is not the vehicle for discussing it. Negativity here will only go on to exacerbate an already fragile situation and Rob cannot be associated with that. Whatever woes you are feeling as the consumer, it is probably magnified by 10X for Rob and retaining his credibility.

I think some people are missing the point that TM are the middle men, and dealing with someone else on your behalf. I have been there before, and they never gave up and always came through for me.
Once a product is in their hands, it is shipped quickly and with no problems.

I just got an email from Fractal. Whatever private business issues exist between the two companies "should be panned out this week. Shipments will then resume".

I haven't heard anything, but it's only 6AM EST on Wednesday, so that's what, 3AM over in California? We will probably hear something before the weekend if Fractal Audio really intends to ship some AFXIIs.
