My Fortin Cali had a fuse holder problem like that.

When I ship amps, I usually wedge a piece of foam (or cardboard) between the transformers and the top of the headshell to stablize them during shipping. Works perfectly. I've always wondered why manufacturers don't ship them out like that if their transformers are prone to pulling like that.

That's kind of what I was thinking.. maybe a piece of dense foam or even styrofoam in a plastic bag (to keep all the particles from getting everywhere) either on top, or between the OT and the back of the amp or both would be even better.
