I decided to throw the 57 in front of my cab and hit record on the camera. This was the only backing track I had on deck so I used it. Listen through to the end as I did noodle around without a backing track. I should have spent more time with the mic position but you get the idea. I did upload the video with just the room sound but forgot to adjust it to low gain (clipping like a mother but you get a sense). I forgot to turn on my front light to give it a better picture.

The guitar plays like butter! Still getting used to the single cut Les Paul style guitar. I have been playing super strats for so long. It is cool to have some diversity in my stable of fiddles.

Let me know if you have any suggestions for clips. I would be happy to throw something together for your listening/viewing pleasure.

Damn cool...always dug that song. What color is that?

Dude, if that's how you play when you're still getting used to something then I want to see another vid in a month.......that was awesome.

HNGD, GTs rule all.

BTW,

I wanted to make note that I recorded the playing over the backing track with RHY2 boosted by my Xotic BB Preamp. After the backing track I move around from Lead to Clean (you can see me punch the buttons). Personally, I really like RHY2 boosted.

Congrats on the new axe Chad!!! Glad to see you back with a Mark IV, IMO that amp suits you really well. I love Rhy 2 boosted with a xotic bb.

Love the Warm Crunch of that Guitar and Amp ( didn't know this is how Mark 4 s sound ).

And very nice melodic stuff in your playing- the room Clips on second vid really are excellent !

Not a hint of harshness in the Tones but it's still really crisp and Crunchy and love the emotion in your playing- great mix of feel and chops,!

I am very happy for you Chad that you got this guitar, I know you have been wanting one for a long time. Clips sound great

Regarding your ideas for videos I say work boots and a tool belt after working on the lawn.

killer playing and badass guitar man! Cool to see you're back with the Mark IV too, that amp seemed to fit you really well. Makes me realize I never gave R2 a chance though!

Thanks Will. I agree. This amp just seems to be...me. I am liking RHY2 with the BB a lot. I never played with it enough previously.

Great tone and playing as always, Chad.

Thanks Scott and Jason!

You may not believe me but here it goes. I was reading Scott's posts about an hour ago while eating dinner here and in my NGD thread. I started laughing so hard that I threw up. My wife was wondering what was going on. She helped me clean up and here I am again posting. Seriously, I love you guys here at Rig-Talk!
