Here is a simple rig just done for Tom for the upcoming tour. 3 wireless receivers go to a Whirlwind multi selector box and then into a gcx switcher. Then the pedals [missing one] out 2 transformer isoed amp outs. He is using a Divided by 13 for his amp both channels. The 4th wireless goes to a di for his acoustic. Here you go.

It's all your fault, I gotta screeeeeeeeen my phone calls, no matter matter matter who calls, I gotta screeeeeeeeeen my phone calls.

How does this work from start to finish?
Does an artist call you up and say I want to send you a bunch of gear and have it hooked up in this or that way? Do you do all work at your shop or do you ever go on site to the artists studio/home/rehearsal space? When you finish does the artist then come down to your shop and give it a test drive and get a run down of how you set everything up? Do you usually deal directly with the artist or is it generally their guitar tech? Do you provide all the wiring documentation with the rigs you build as well? What I am getting at is over all how does the process work when a client contacts you and says "I want you to build my rig" Do you ever find yourself having to do "house calls" or get calls late at night from a guitar tech in some country that says "yeah so and sos rig just went belly up and we cant figure out what happened" Just curious... call me George

Boof.

Awesome!

I met Tom while he was at the Hamer shop, he was playing the first Standard with Jol talking fiddles

Well it often happens every way you said. Some times the Artist comes to me with what he wants to use sometimes its the tech. Sometimes they need guidance to what they need to get for a certain sound. Some guys barley know how to plug the guitar in some are very hands on. Most of time all the work is done at the shop, i prefer this. Sometimes I go to the rehearsal to consult on the rig with the artist or tech or it happens at my shop. I have done rigs out of town ,at rehearsals at venues etc. So on & so on

Man, say what you will, but I love No Doubt. That record Tragic Kingdom was awesome. Killer basslines and bass tone from Tony, great drumming from Adrian, and excellent guitar stuff from Tom, who never played anything too busy or too much. Great P90 tones on that record too.

I always kinda felt bad for him, because he came from a metal background (supposedly) so you know there was some part of him that wanted to rock out alot more than what he was "able" to do in no doubt.

You do extremely nice work my friend!!

I hope to find a beat up 1959 reissue to send to you for some mods soon. * crosses fingers *
