In the 80's I read that the instrumental "The Journey" came out exactly the way he wanted. Nice piece with buildup of guitars. I always loved the "Cool the Engines" riff - rest of the album is a snoozer for me. "Don't look back" is a solid album with clever and great riffs. "A man I'll never be" is a very soulful performance and melody.
Sholtz was always very unique to me. I always thought of him in the same category as Brian May as far as potential, creativity and similar in the way that they use the guitar. (I prefer Sholtz much more, of course.)
Wonder what effects he uses on keyboards (ie. "Foreplay").
