Mezzabarba Trinity with matching cab for $1200?
I contacted them and asked if the listing was correct and if there was anything wrong wrong with the amp and after a day or two, got a simple “Yes I do” response, didn’t even really answer my question.

I’m not going to try to buy it, it just seems shady. Maybe rob me and take my cash or the amp was stolen or something. Thoughts?

Yeah, when I see wording or anything that seems off with something I just avoid a situation all-together. "Yes I Do" sounds idiotic.

That def seems shady, just from the price. The head alone is worth like 3x that right?

Yes I do; that's hilarious

If anyone offers shipping on Craigslist, avoid at all costs.

I don’t see anything shady with the ad. Someone is getting a great deal for sure.

Ask if you can do local pickup cash only exchange. If you get run around its a scam.

It's possible we'll be seeing crazy priced to move deals since, unfortunately ppl are out of work. Could literally be a studio liquidating.

Thats an oddly specific item to scam with though. I doubt you'll get robbed, but something seems weird. I have encountered plenty of people who are simply socially inept when it comes to online interactions though. I'd definitely be hesitant.

I see a scuff mark on the corner of the head.
$899.00 plus some of that grandmother furniture and we can deal.

I asked for a video proving it was functional with a hand written note with todays date. His reply:

"Yes is still for sale."

Definitely a scam

I listed a watch on Chrono24 last week and that site made me take photos of my watch set to two random times they sent me. They definitely want to verify that the watch in your possession.

Yeah sounds like it. Today I drove from Louisville to Atlanta so I had been checking Nashville CL to see if I might pick up something on the way. Thought about trying it but said screw it, why brake.

Anyway, made it home, haven’t seen the wife and kids in 3 months since the covid thing hit.

Cool you get to get back with family
That's a long time.
Even if the amp was stolen it just seems like odd responses.
I'd be inclined to figure out if maybe the seller doesn't speak English.
Maybe they are trained to just say 'Yes I do' as in 'Yes it is still for sale'.
Definitely something wrong

"Yes is still for sale. Meet me in the woods at midnight and I'll bring the amp"

Holy crap man, that's crazy! Glad you finally got to make it.

This whole thing has been crazy and mentally weird and tough on folks. I've been in my house alone since March 15th. I've been to the grocery store once a week then back home. Communication is thru the phone with folks but everyone is making the best of it. Like I told my buddy, I would rather be quarantined than dead. I've already had two friends lose their mothers to this so I'm good.

Damn hate to hear that.

It’s was just luck of the draw. I took a job in Louisville last Sept. My wife will move to Louisville this Fall when my youngest son goes off to college. So for the year we were just traveling back and forth. When this started getting serious she was in Atlanta and I was in Louisville, just stayed that way until this weekend. But it was good in that I took this time to learn a lot of theory and things I’ve always put off. Changed my picking style. Played more guitar in the last 3 months than I did the previous year. I’m not complaining, but not sure what I would have done without my gear.

Dude, I'm with you on that. I have been playing more guitar and putting up vids for my friends. When this crap started, they were all like "thanks for putting music vids up! Keep doing it!!". LOL! People were getting bored as hell and just wanted to see something different. I started goofing around and even did a vid to a GnR backing track of "Nightrain". I had an old Slash Halloween costume and put that on to give everyone a laugh.
