I really hope that good people don't buy into this really sick idea that somehow the people of Palestine are ...faking starvation? I mean it's pretty well documented dudes. It's really sad to see people imply that it's not really happening.

To be fair, you and countless others online made the same mistake. I, OTOH, was sceptical from the get-go 'cause the mother looked completely-normal. Just didn't add up.

I always watch the footage shown in the MSM of young men raiding the aid trucks for food very-carefully. None of them is fat (normal for Gaza), but to-a-man they look virile, healthy and strong. Not even hungry-looking, let alone starving or remotely-underweight.

The propaganda is strong on that side. Always-expected that it would be the most-potent weapon / defence / justification from Hamas.

Nothing I've said diminishes the reality of the tragic situation there, mind you; let's be clear about that. Try to look at what I said as a temperate voice whispering from the ether in the interests of balance. :LOL:

Israel is purposely starving Gaza. They destroyed their ability to produce their own food; they block fishing, and they are blockading all food from entering. The systematic murder of an entire population is one of the sickest things I can imagine.

If you consider yourself a human with empathy, surely you can't support this.

Data compiled and published by Israel’s own government makes clear that it has been starving Gaza. Between March and June, Israel allowed just 56,000 tonnes of food to enter the territory, Cogat records show, less than a quarter of Gaza’s minimum needs for that period.

But, the fact of the kid having cerebral palsy is irrelevant, given that he has lost 1/3 of his weight since the blockade.
