This is Rig Talk..we talk about our Rigs. And this thread is for people who want to show pics of their rigs. Shocker. Lol.

I agree, I've been a member for 10 years, I've seen the changes.

I'm just saying, many people have pics in their signature, avatar, or both. I just find it annoying that they take up a half a page listing it or picturing it in their sig, then you have to scroll through a full page of it to find a simple question taking up 2 pages is really only 3 replies and miles of pics and lists of their gear in their sigs. Then wonder why you can't load pics in a classified.

I've posted pics, like anybody else, and love gear as well. My point is, we see most of these gear pics on a daily bases every time they reply to a thread. Make it a sticky and do away with signatures and eliminate the clutter and repetition. It's gotten silly.
I agree. Some people just go way over board with their sigs. I don't know why anyone would put a picture in theirs, a gear list, sure. But pictures? Pics really do clutter up trying to quickly scroll through a thread when you did a search and are looking for an answer to a question.

Some people are really proud of their stuff and like to show it off. Yeah, it sucks to have to scroll past all the sig pix and stuff, but that's the nature of forums. If I didn't like it, ultimately I can go somewhere else and make a forum with no sig pix allowed if so inclined. For now I'll take the easy route and stay here.

I don't like that it seems most people here are obsessed with EVH, and trying to obtain his sound, but you don't see me ranting about it.

Do what you want, when you want within the rules. Unless the rules are stupid, then just do what you want anyway :)

Awww, hell no. I just bragging rights for the best rig to have in a chill room. The bottom two have multi color lights with 16 patterns and remote controls. They're the night lights in my music room.

I got fancy LED lighting too, do I get some extra credit or something?

That's pretty damn cool. Next I'll be ripping my Mesa 2x12 apart to install lights...hmmmmmm....

This thread is full of win. Like the Special Olympics, everyone is a winner for participating.

This cab has infinitely adjustable colors, and is also dynamic, so when you play, it pulses. You can also have a set color, neither a different pulse color, or pulse only in whatever color you come up with.

That's cool. What kind of lights do you have?

That I don't know, this cab came this way, I'll have to look into it to find out

Love this thread. Lots of new rigs I see that I had no idea the member had.
That Hughes and Kettner rig..... :inlove: :inlove:

Too much gear for me to put in one post (literally have a garage full of Jet City amps and cabs), but here's the top of my food chain. Don't let that Jet City stuff fool you - it can hang with the big boys.

Heres my amps, i have a bunch of guitars but no guitar family pics.

Pedalboard i use with the Dr. Z or whatever amp is at church

If you can't find your sound with those rigs I would be amazed ! Newbie here to rig-talk but I know gear !

I didn't know we were going guitars too! Let me get in on this!

I know I know, no Charvel, Suhr, or Mayones, I might as well have all Fender Squires instead

Didn't include the Vypyr VIP 2 combo or guitars in this pic. The cab has V30's in it.

No 4x12? Even at low volumes having a 4x12 is awesome

I had an oversized Mesa 4x12 for a long time, sold it after my band broke up. Just felt like it was total overkill for my needs afterwards, and it took up a lot of space. Also, a 2x12 is much more manageable to load into a small car like mine, which is important. If anything, I'd rather get a second 2x12 than another 4x12 at this point- I could have that giant push of air while keeping the portability.

I agree with portability for sure, that's why I recently got this 2x12, but while at home, it's all 4x12's for sure. My favorite sound in the world comes from a single 4x12. I've ran all kinds of setups, and for some reason the 4x12 sounds the best. It's like the V8 of cabinets.
