Torpedo Remote BETA Now Available!

So this is pretty badass... It would be really cool if there were more parameters for the reverb effect. I think this is a really strong start.

Hey Fluff,
Will this Torpedo Remote update apply/work with the Torp Studio as well?

Thanks,

Craig

All the new features only apply to the Live and CAB, so far. There is no use of installing this update for the Studio.

However, if you own a CAB or Live and a Studio, you can do the update : this version of the Remote will work with the Studio. It just won't bring any change.

How far are you guys from official release? Also is this version stable enough to test for a few days and deem it suitable for live use?

The current beta version (3.1.1) is pretty stable, it mostly misses a few features, but there are no known bugs that could prevent the use of the software.

Futhermore, the firmware for the Live and CAB did almost not evolved between the 3.00 and 3.02, almost no bugs were find (except when sending presets, but that doesn't apply to live use). So it can be considered safe for live use, yes, once you validated it for a few days.

The official non-beta release should be available very soon, stay tuned !

Thanks djd, we'll have a look at them right away.

Did the upgrade and it was seamless. New features are great. Love the new rooms and their reverbs. Well done Two Notes! So far no bugs. I will evaluate again today and be taking it to the stage Friday and Saturday night!

So far, Ive been very pleased with how the update works. Are there any updates on when the official release will be coming out? Also, you mentioned above that the official release "mostly misses a few features"... Could you elaborate on what this might point to?

Oh nothing you can see really: changing the cache strategy to display the cabinets properties even when you are offline, improving the search engine, that kind of stuff. ;)
