Sounded good, man. The test of an amp tone is always how well it fits in a mix, unless you're doing strictly solo instrumental work with no other instruments present.

One observation is that it sounded like perhaps you were working with less gain than you're used to.

Overall, great clip, and great to see something out of the usual being demoed here.

I did a handful of improvised takes. It wasn't meant to be perfect.

Nice tone. Is that real 'wreck or a clone? Express?

Real Wrecks are going for around $40K. If I had that much money to blow on an amp, I probably have better things to do than post on message boards.

Tell that to three-quarters of TGP.

That might explain why 3/4's of TGP members are self righteous douche bags that have seen it all and could never be satisfied..

The new ones are "only" about 6K and are getting some great reviews from guys who own/owned originals. Did you build yours or buy it?

I bought everything separately. I used Classic Tone iron.

It's a real saggy amp, but is more articulate than an amp (Marshall) with a cathode follower driver tone stack for the most part. You can hear the power supply do a catch up for a split second when you do a quick back off on the guitar volume.

You'll need an attenuator if you plan on playing it at any volume lower than a full rock band! This amp gets it's sound from power clip distortion, not a high gain preamp. My clips would sound better if I could play at full volume and get the speaker moving. But whatever.. It's cool to have something different than the standard uber gain buzz box tone.

That sounds great imo and some killer playing too  Like your style of playing.

All Dumble discussion, on any forum, end up as Trainwrecks, though the amps couldn't be more dissimilar. My mind is blown just by thinking that up. :loco:

P.S. Cool clip.

Yeah one or two people inevitably get butthurt over all the Dumble bandwaggoning and post something like "Dumbles are sooo overrated. A Trainwreck can git all the toans of a Dumble ODS wit only the volume knab on the gitar! It don't need all dem switches."
