This amp is the blackstar HT dual pedal circuit mated to a 5 watt pushpull 12bh7 poweramp. if you want the tone and more but like 100 watts get the pedal and use it with any amp you like.
The team behind blackstar are ex marshall employees BTW.

Interesting. I received a UPS Tracking Number via email stating that it shipped on Friday, March 20.

Good luck in your deal searches guys. When I tried this amp out 3 months ago, I thought it is was off the hook as far as the gain channel possibilities go. $500 for the head and 2 cabs is a rediculous deal too. I like the Egnater Rebel 20 for clean tones A LOT more and probably mid gain tones too. But for no pedal needed in front high gain riffage and liquid sustain lead lines the HT5 is a definite win for all players! I didn't know that they sold the head separately until Danyeo told me on Thursday. Hmm... I'll probably snag one too (and a Rebel with matching 2X12) sometime this year.

I called them up and they said that there were no more blems in stock and that they made a mistake on the website. i just went ahead and bought one with the coupon and instead of paying $235 it was $269......Im not complaining at all!!

It can get really compressed the louder you go but at reasonable volumes this thing sounds better than amps I've had that costed a lot more. So far the effects loop works like a charm as well. I wonder how different 12AX7's will sound? Hmmmmmmmmm.
