Ive had really good luck w/ the road rage and loop master loopers...I'm willing to wait and get the better quality...(while in the waiting period)----I lay out my pedals, experiment, try different power supplies- some are quieter than others, try different pedal combinations, layout the board plan, and basically learn my pedals inside and out,so when the looper comes in,its just a matter of wiring the pedals in on your nice,clean,pedalboard...done..all is good
probably doesn't compete with the loopers mentioned, but I love my Voodoo pedal switcher. Has 4 TB loops with a buffered or unbuffered input, and an insert jack in between the third and fourth loop. It's been a very transparent unit for me. With everything off on the looper, you would have a hard time telling the difference from going straight in with just a cord. I also like the fact that you can upgrade it by stacking as many pedal switcher units as you want, and controlling them all with a Voodoo Commander.
