Recently bought this ‘77 Marshall JMP Master MKII - 50 watt off FB marketplace. It’s been lightly modded, definitely has a good amount of gain and sounds killer! There’s a spray painted stencil on the bottom that appears to read “Cameron”. Any connection to Mark Cameron?
Has the original 6550’s. The 10k cold clipper was changed to a 4.7k and bypassed with a 100 mfd cap. V2A has .68 bypass cap (maybe moved from the Presence pot)…plus some weird shielded coax from V1. The bright cap had been removed so I added a ceramic 1000 pf.
Killer amp, just needs a recap and bias resistors replaced.
