I guess I learnt something new today. Didn't know they arranged tanks like that for fire fighting purposes. Seems like a good idea. We had a lot of fires this year very close to home. The only tank I know of is at the fire station. People were offering their pools for the choppers to dip into....

Lots of big places around here are on well water. Many have to chlorinate their potable water so the set up separate tanks for fire or irrigation that they don’t have to treat.

How is it potable if they have to chlorinate? That seems non-potable? Is there bad drinking water there? Here we have lime scale. Massive lime scale.

I don't think the tanks would work here since everything is private property and most people would say "no" to having that on their property.

Properties that serve a large enough population are regularly tested by the state, if any of them test positive for bacteria they pretty much have to chlorinate for the rest of time. No different than most municipalities

Ah that makes sense. We do have some places with communal water sources drawn from a well here but most people that are on a well have their own private well. My brother has endless problems with the lime scale here. I wish I had a well of my own but when I see how much of a problem it can be I would rather have rainwater collection.

It’s a good side gig for me. Every property that chlorinates needs to be under someone’s license. Most aren’t going to hire a FTE just for that, especially seasonal touristy areas, so I’m a hired gun of sorts.

So you have some sort of water treatment licensing? It sounds like a good side gig except you are working on saturdays! My cousin does that work in Tahoe but he got sick of having to be on call and roll out every time an alarm kicked at the treatment station. He does water treatment for one of the ski resorts now, I just don't know what that entails.

Saturdays and most Sundays. It is what it is. It’s a lot of paperwork because there is daily reporting, but the work load isn’t all that much. A lot of responsibility though as it’s ultimately my fault if someone gets sick from the water.

I deal with potable water, waste water is a separate license. I’m confident I could run a small treatment facility, but I haven’t don’t any of the courses or certifications. I just help friends out with theirs when they are on vacation or something

Wastewater has emergency calls/after hours work though and I have enough of that with my actual job

What is a "Globohomo"?

What is a "Globohomo"? Is that like the LGBT empire article I posted?
Globalist agenda to homogenize everything, turn everything into subscription based style economy for never ending growth/spending/debt, you'll earn the same as someone in China, Eet ze bugz, live in a pod/cuckshed, etc...lgbtlbqtif+ is a part in that it plays a role in destroying societal order, norms, traditions, cultural and national identity, but that's just one method and not really the homo part in Globohomo...otherwise known as the GAE aka Global American Empire

Is this why we can't have good-sounding, reliable 6CA7's anymore ?

I see. "Homo" as in homogenize or homosexual? Did you see my TAC article?

7 days a week! Dang. I guess that weekend gig makes the guitar money so you got some nice axes hanging on the wall.
Mostly all partscasters I pieced together over the years. The strandberg is probably the only “nice” guitar I’ve bought.

Parscasters are the only way to go for bolt ons IMO. I still have a box of Am Std parts I need to either give away or throw away, lol. I have one fancy guitar, it's for sale. Everything I gig with is Japanese these days. I'm done dumping huge money into guitar stuff yet I still find myself dumping enough money into it.

God damn right.
Dictatorship for only day 1.

Cheap gas, less inflation and world peace by next Christmas

But, that's not what the swamp and its handlers want. Klaus, Soros, and their minions will defame you even if it means shoving the Consitution up a Satanic worshiper's nether regions during a Christmas "celebration" (because, that's what they go for).
