I got your point.

To your current point, it's kinda rich to ask me to put myself in a bullet's path to defend someone who is actively trying to disarm me though.

The politicians, they are just pawns, fodder for the Rich. They would fold under threat to adopt any position that saves their skin. If it ever came down to something as serious as taking up arms, I would want them all gone (removed from power, not necessarily killed). There is no reset or fresh start if one party stays around as is.

That's not true. I mean to a degree it is, but if the shit hit the fan like that they would take their money and run. Especially the ones that have already been there 40 years or whatever. Let's not pretend they ain't rich. Pelosi is worth between 250m and 400m. Schumer is relatively poor at 4m allegedly.
