So I have my Ultra Lead and Twin Jet set up in stereo with each panned hard left and right. This left me with a clean channel on only one side, so I got the idea to use an extra chorus pedal to split the clean channel to both amps. So basically I do this........... UL effects send>>>> Boss stereo chorus A output to UL effects return, and B output to TJ effects return. The only way I can get sound out of the TJ's cabinet is if I jump a chord from The UL low input on the front of the amp to the input on the TJ's input on the front of the amp. When I use my normal front end stereo effects in the front of the amps, I can't use the jumper cable, and I get no volume out of the Bogner. I thought it was a "normal" thing to do to be able to use just the power section of an amp by sending a signal from another amp's pre section to the effects return of another? HELP!?!?!?!!?!

Try just plugging a dummy cable into the TJ (just one end of the cable with the other end unplugged from anything).

Hmmmm... that's exactly how I run my stereo setup. Should work.

From the Manual:

Uberschall Power Amp Mod:
The Uberschall now features on amps made after 8/16/04 a muted power amp when no input is plugged into the
front input jack. If you wish to use the power amp portion of the Uberschall with another preamp you must do the
following: Plug in a "dummy input jack" into the front panel input to activate the circuit. Turn the effects loop on.
Select the "clean" or high gain channel. Now you can use the Global Master volume for your level and also the
Presence control on the high gain channel becomes active as well.

^ oops, sorry I wasn't more specific. yeah, I meant plug a dummy cable into the TJ'e input.

I had a cable plugged into the font. It just wasn't a "dummy" cable........... Oh hell, oh well, I will try it again and report back...............
