Is there a reason to get one over another other than room on a pedalboard?
I felt the mini sounded a bit thinner than the full size.Is there a reason to get one over another other than room on a pedalboard?
Hey, I'm not saying I have a small penis but my doctor struggles to find it every time I go I for my pap smear.....Guys with full size pedals are only trying to make up for their small wangs. TS9 mini ftw!
Bigger pedals sound a bit bigger to me. Some people don't notice or don't care, however. I have of lot of mini TS clones that I like, but they have a more narrow quality to them. You could call it a placebo effect, but apparently some pedal designers have claimed this as well.
Get both, do an A/B test, and return or sell the other. It's the only way to know for sure.Is there a reason to get one over another other than room on a pedalboard?
Yep, I actually own almost every vintage (pre-Dunlop) MXR pedal, save for the block letter Blue Box (I went with the RI as a placeholder until one pops up with the original box and manual) and I A/B/C-ed the Phase 95 (mini) with my vintage Phase 45 and Phase 90 (thread is on TGP).Off topic, but I feel the same way about my MXR mini Phaser. I’ve owned every version of the Phase 90, and the mini just sound better to my ear.
The little ones are almost always surface mount components. Some of the big ones too. Being the tinkerer that I am, I want a pedal that can be moddedIs there a reason to get one over another other than room on a pedalboard?
