for the price over here i'd definitely give the kemper a go, on the used market you're looking at around 1100 euros for one, the axe fx 2 is closer to the 2k mark, the kemper is easier to dial in imo as you're going off the quality of a base profile, the axe fx is a great unit but if you're a compulsive tweaker like me you'll tend to get lost in the huge amounts of settings/bias/voltage/IC chip/eq curve/ etc etc settings
i've got some 2 tube amps in my appartment (an 83 jcm800 and a h&k statesman) with a 2x12 and an attenuator, i pretty much never use it, i really love it when i plug in to those rigs, sound/feel is great but the noise level concerns for the neighbours means can't really enjoy it
had the kemper now since 6-7months, use it with a pair of small studio monitors, bought a few and selected down my favourite profiles, switch between 3-4 kind of tones and it's brilliant, 'cranked' tube amp tone and feel at low volumes, there are some great profiles out there, i bought a few off the amp factory , and i'm very curious to try the mbritt profiles,
