Which model TS has the most mids? Looking for a good solo boost to cut through the mix.

Best Tube Screamer you can get in my opinion is the Maxon od808.

The Maxon ST-9 Pro+ is similar to other TS pedals but also has a mid knob that lets you fine tune the mids. It is pretty agressive grind and almost borders being a distortion pedal but I run mine with the drive off using it like a traditional TS boost. Good for really thick amps. That being said, I mostly use my Maxon OD 808. Something about that 808 is magic.

Xotic BB Preamp MB is a TS based pedal and it has a mids pot as does the Seymour Duncan 805 . The Maxon OD808 could be the ticket though , I got rid of mine cause it was a bit too mid heavy

My favorite lead TS of all time is the Keeley Baked Ibanez TS-9.
By a mile. I always have a couple.

I wouldn't use it as a stand alone gain pedal but on top of crunch, it's magic.

I love the maxon od808 as well but you should look at the Keeley red dirt and xotic bb or bb plus, the keeley is a scorcher. I use the red dirt on my guitars that don't have a duncan distortion in them

Agree on the BB+. I have one and the left side is one of the best boost I have ever used. It has bass, mid, and treble controls also.

Cusack Screamer

I have to agree. As a bonus, I'd say it's 50% more quiet than any TS variants. I'm floored by it. My high gain amps have more hiss on the gain channel then they do set on clean and using the Cusack Screamer to add back in the gain.

Yes sir, I have the plus as well and it's extremely versatile. Sounds especially good through a lightly driven sound

I love the BB Preamp.
It can be used as a stand alone dirt box as well though. It's more versatile than a TS.

Glad you got one Dave. It really is the quietest. It's got to be my fav TS pedal and I have had many. It just does the job and does it extremely well. I have had everyone listed and many more. The CS stays. I got rid of it once awhile ago and went on tangent. Not again. I think everyone that bought one loves it. Even teh switch is great. Similar to the Maxon switch.

The TS808 Reissue has a real mid heavy EQ curve, adds a bit on the higher end of bass and cuts a bit of high end. It does use diods to clip for gain so if you are happy sending a digitally clipped signal into a tube amp be warned it will loose a little bit of "life" but that's my subjective opinion. A mosfet clean booster might serve quite well

The Cusack is the most transparent of any boost pedal that I've tried. I still prefer the OD1X because I like the mids/high end character it adds. But the Cusack is great.

Ive been using the od808 for 12 yrs and still love it, but i tried a khdk ghoul screamer last month and really liked it, im thinking about getting one.

Had a vintage Ibanez TS808 that was the best I've had, stupidly sold it. Dig the Cusack as well.
