Tube screamers. Which one have buffers?

Howdy. I've read that some Tube Screamers (and TS clones) DO have buffers and that some don't. Which ones DO have buffers and are some better than others? I play old school metal and hard rock through a Peavey Triple X. I'd appreciate your advice. Thanks!
 
The regular Ibanez TS808 and TS9 are buffered, as is the Maxon OD808. It's very much a matter of taste. I like the Maxon OD-9 which is a true bypass TS9, but they are all similar. The OD808 is a bit rounder on the bottom end with a slightly sharper top end where the OD-9 is a bit more squared off if that makes any sense. I have a Joyo Vintage Overdrive which is a TS808 copy, but I don't doubt it sounds different than the Ibanez version. I have a bunch of mini TS clones as well that all sound different.
 
Are you talking about when the pedal is OFF whether it's buffered or not buffered (true-bypass)?
